So why is there a therapy room at the Angel Guesthouse?
Due to our location on the Lands End to John'O'Groats cycle and walking route we have seen many sore and weary cyclists and walkers pass through our doors on their way North - and occasionally South.
To help them on their journey we have introduced a therapy room and we have a Massage therapist in-house.
Angel Guesthouse therapy room is available for booking for pre and post-event Sports Therapy massage and also for a relaxing aromatherapy massage.
Since its opening the therapy room has become very popular with local running groups looking for good sports therapy massage and so booking is essential.
Massage therapy charges:
Sports Therapy post-event massage 30 minutes concentrating on either legs or back
A sports therapy (deep tissue) post event massage will help loosen tired, stiff muscles. Help maintain flexibility and promote blood flow to the muscles to reduce lactic acid and waste and reduce cramping.
£15.00 residents, £17.50 non-residents
Aromatherapy massage 1 hr full body massage or 30 mins back, neck and shoulders.
During aromatherapy massage, the skin is warmed and the blood drawn to the surface, increasing circulation and encouraging the elimination of toxins from the body, which has the consequence of speeding up recovery time from any illness or injury. The manipulation of the muscles continues the process, whilst at the same time releasing tense knotted muscles by dispersing the build up of lactic acid which often occurs after exercise
